Legal Support That Understands Your Needs

Labris provides free and confidential legal assistance to LBTQ women who need information about their rights, legal advice, or support in proceedings before institutions. You can contact us if you are experiencing discrimination, intimate partner violence, or other situations in which you need legal information and support. We are here to help you understand your rights, available protection mechanisms, and your options.

Legal assistance is also available to Rainbow Families facing legal questions related to the rights of partners and children. Support may include information and advice on the family’s legal status, options for exercising their rights and navigating procedures before institutions.

We provide particular support to LBTQ women who face specific barriers to exercising their rights − including fear of being outed, discrimination, a lack of understanding within institutions, and forms of intimate partner violence specific to same-sex relationships. Legal support can be important before, during, and after approaching institutions, as well as when you are unsure what the next step should be.
